Papa (Narendra Srivastava ) departed for his heavenly abode on 20th Feb, 2024.

Born in Kanpur in 1943, studied in Sherwood, Nainital and then graduated from IIT Kharagpur in 1966.

He was the president of Azad Hall, IIT Chess Champion, long distance athlete and received special award of Freedom of Hall.

Worked for 50 yrs starting at Nirsha in coalfields with Thapar’s. Moved to Mathura then Delhi with Triveni, finally with Uttam at Ghaziabad/Noida.

Travelled in India from Pampore to Coimbatore, Imphal and Agartala to Bharuch. Overseas Morocco, Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya. Many others on personal ventures.

Succeeded in being the First to make the largest cane mud vacuum filter 14’ x 36’ operate successfully at Shamli.

From 2017 till 2023, managed the Society RWA as secretary and then president.

Married in 1973 to Leela Srivastava. Daughter Nimita Sinha and son Dipendra Srivastava , son in law Ajit Sinha , daughter in law Jean Jean and grand children Abhimanu, Nalin and Aditya.

Celebrated his 50th Wedding anniversary last year in July and 80th birthday in December.
